Project Scope

Hangar 4305 is a registered historical facility located at Edwards Air Force Base that retains its historical status even after all construction activities were completed. This project was conducted in 2 phases. Phase 1 consisted of the installation of a new high expansion foam fire suppression system and rehabilitation of the existing fire sprinkler system with all new controls and wiring. All new HVAC System and new lighting and electrical system were also installed. Phase 2 consisted of the demolition and construction of new office spaces, bathrooms and storage rooms. Cutting Edge worked closely with Edwards Air Force Base Historical Society to maintain the historical integrity and status of the facility while meeting the needs of the Army Corp. of Engineers and the mission requirements of the Army’s “Sky Warrior” program.
